Hi everybody,i want to flash CM11 on some brended Y300 (Swisscom),but i'm not sure is it going to work,so if somebody have some brended Y300,please confirm me if it's ok to flash it or not,because i don't want to brick it... :huh:

I flashed twrp on branded swisscom, and later 10.2 cyanogen mod. Worked verry fine. But my phone was unlocked for all networks.

:0 incredible! Just rooted my friends nexus 7 v2 on 4.4.2 and it was so damn smooth so now I'm paranoid about performance xD does antutu take SD card speeds/size into account?

I installed cm-11-20140104-NIGHTLY-u8833 on my Y300. Everything is great, except for a major bug. The microSD card is not being mounted, or if it does get mounted, it thinks its the internal phone storage.

Pity. Everything else is beautiful...

Hi mates!!!

I have bought a G510-0100 few months ago. I have been testing several roms with it, and i would stick with CM11.

My problem is the next:

With the stock rom 4.1.1 from Vodafone, i can send/receive MMS without having to turn the "data" manually, once it turned it on automatically to send/receive, and then it turned it off when it finishes sending/receiving the MMS.

With this Rom (CM11 latest upadate), i can't do that... I have to turn on the "data" to send an MMS, and then turn it off when it finishes...

I would really appreciate your help here....

I have this information on a forum, for Samsung that solves the issue of auto MMS send/receive... Is it possible to add this code somewhere to CM11?

Re the MMS : latest version of 8sms (from play store) standard cm message app has this function.

I tried 8mms, doesn't work either the way Stock Rom did it. I have to turn on the Data manually...

I have the same Mistake (could not Install any App on the SD Card) (it seems that the Internal 4GB Storage is two divided).

On the last nightly there was jit disabled. Maybe that's why antutu show such a result. It looks like Dazzozo will enable it in the next nightly. Tomorrow you should benchmark again to compare it.

@Dazzozo thanks for your awesome work on this ROM, I remember the endless hours you put into getting CM on the g300 and spent a lot of time lurking in the IRC channel following your trials and tribulations ( along with faughalus???)

I'm mightily impressed with this ROM and its running well. Some random reboots(seem to be when high I/O) but miles better than stock for me ( really surprised at just how laggy and unresponsive the phone was out of the box. I assume its a combination of poorly optimised drivers/firmware, lower end specs (mainly RAM?).

So a huge thanks for all your efforts and hard work and kudos deserved for giving so many of us the ability to improve our phones :-)

Change bootlogo.
Bootlogo - picture that appears immediately after turning on or restarting the phone .You will need root- rights .
To change bootlogo:
1) On your phone , using RootExplorer, navigate to the folder / data / cust and create a folder in her logo. Copy the file folder logo oemlogo.mbn
2) Download and unzip the file load_oemlogo.zip  and using RootExplorer copy it to the / system / bin. There will most likely already have such file , replace it. 
3) Then in a terminal emulator , enter the following command :
 
su

load_oemlogo

exit (2 times)
 
4)reboot

download oemlogo.mbn 480*854 (for G510)
