Guest zeploit Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Why notifications sound doesnt work ?
Guest n0ctis Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) Hi KonstaT, thank you very much for your work, i've flashed this ROM on a ZTE Skate Acqua (following the compatibilityv2.zip) and the phone is working very very well i didn't expect that performance on this device :) But i have some small issues that i would like to know if there is anything i can do to overcome them. - the spell checker is not working, there is no spell suggestion (can i flash any keyboard here?) - when using camera if i change to video i get a crash error. (can i flash something here too :P) i only noticed this small things (better yet ... my wife lol noticed) if there is any kind of fixing that i can do please guide me in the correct anti-wife-destruction path ^_^ sidenote, awesome work! Guest KonstaT Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Why notifications sound doesnt work ? Idk, because notification sounds work just fine. Yes, you can install any keyboard from the Play Store like in any other ROM. -http://www.modaco.com/topic/365741-rompatch-zte-blade-iii-zte-acqua-compatibility-for-all-roms/?p=2183940

When i tested 10.2 i didn't noticed if the spellcheck was working but i had other bugs, that's why im testing this one (pretty awesome by the way) so the spellcheck should be working? - I'll remove the .xml for the cam and flash the phone again. Thank you for your quick reply. Edited January 30, 2014 by n0ctis
Guest MJonMoDaCo Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Why notifications sound doesnt work ? Volume up? Settings --> Sound --> Volumes. If it is, then did you pick a sound off your SDCard, instead of default sound? If you remove SDCard after reassigning, the system may "forget" what you had picked! So... Pick it again.
Guest djolecs Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Hi,i have the "app not signed correctly" error with all apps i tried to download on google play market...and many apk's from sd card wont install...any idea/fix?
Guest danrak Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 I have a problem with camera picture saving. For any picture I shoot, file name is 2002-12-08 12.00.00 instead of current date and time.
Guest 988twister988 Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 I have bought rooted blade 3, can tell me someone how to unroot?Do I need just copy stock rom "update.zip" and go >Settings-->About phone -->System updates -->Storage card update...?
Guest taurus84 Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Hi KonstaT. I want to say once again that this rom is the best thing for our phone. Thank you for it. I use it for a while and I can say that the rom is pretty stable. I had a two times soft reboot (Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped). I hope it will be fixed in some of the next builds if you manage to find out what the cause of this. I noticed that some functions don't work and it would be nice to disable same functions (Lock screen/Screen security/Menu unlock and Home unlock). We don't have physically home and menu buttons, only sensors. I also noticed that doesn't work function in google search "Offline Speech Recognition". Is this limitation of our phone or something else? That's all for now. If I find something else I'll be free write to you. All the best my friend. ;)

For any picture I shoot, file name is 2002-12-08 12.00.00 instead of current date and time. I highly doubt that's true. All the best my friend. ;) Err, we have physical (capasitive) home and menu buttons and those options work perfectly fine (unlock lockscreen by pressing a button instead of touching the glowpad slider). Maybe you are confusing that with 'home wake' which isn't supported anyway. I have no clue what Google Search offline speech recognition is and where it can be found. Some voice search options have been disabled on low memory devices (e.g. 'OK Google' hotword detection, FAQ on the third post).

Guest D4NY3L Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 my problem is: camcorder doesn't work, the application "camera" crash it ... is my problem? anyone have this problem?
Guest KonstaT Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 It is true. As I said, filename begins with same date and time with number at end. Have you any idea how can I fix this? I still don't believe it. If you have issues with some third party camera app, it's none of my problem. :P Stock camera app saves images as IMG_$DATE_$TIME.jpg at least for me but EXIF date/time is 2002:12:08 12:00:00. my problem is: camcorder doesn't work, the application "camera" crash it ... is my problem? anyone have this problem? Camcorder works just fine. This ROM is not for Momodesign MD Droid though (which is not N880E btw). If you're using Acqua compatibility patch, that thread really isn't that long to find a solution...

Guest D4NY3L Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) O rly?? :( (yes i use fix v2 acqua) but the rom just work good.. Exist any rom for my device?? do You know?? Edited February 1, 2014 by D4NY3L
Guest taurus84 Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Thanks for quick response KonstaT. "OK Google" is interesting function but never mind. I assumed it was a limitation of our device. I have a few questions and tiny bug reports. 1. Is there a way to I use contacts from sim card directly and memorize the contacts directly on the sim card? I didn't see that option in this ROM. 2. Is there an option for network to I use 3G and 2G in same time, not only 3G or 2G? 3. After factory reset if don't select immediately wi-fi network and you turn off wi-fi, after that you can not turn on wi-fi again. It stuck on wi-fi on and then no wifi networks. You must restart phone and then you can choose wi-fi. After you choose wi-fi network everything is ok. 4. I have noticed minor bug with mute sound setting (Sound/Ring mode). After I choose mute sound and after some time I set sound to normal my volume level is not on high, sound is almost at minimum. Don't memorize my last volume setting level. Try Sound/Ring mode/Mute and then Sound/Volume and then again Ring mode but now choose Normal. Volum sound level is almost at minimum. It's not a big deal but you just to know. 5. Now that you've discovered the problem can you fix soft reboot bug (Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped)? Sorry in advance if I'm little boring. Not if they've got Cyanogenmod on their phone, in which case you'll need your original recovery found here. Dont forget - Original update needs original recovery.

There's plenty of third party apps available at the Play Store to import/export SIM contacts. 2. At least quick settings network mode tile has that option. 3. I can't reproduce such issue. Doesn't sound too serious anyway if you'd only have to reboot your device once. 4. I can't reproduce that, volume is stored correctly for me. 5. It's a prebuilt binary blob that segfaults. Unfortunaty we're stuck with ancient drivers for various reasons so I'm not sure there's much I can do at the moment.
Guest taurus84 Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 Thanks KonstaT for all your answers. I hope you will publish a new build soon with some new functions, stability improvements and bug fixes (if there are bugs ;) ). Good luck with future projects.

Guest peetu20 Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Thats for LG L7, not for Blade III. I am too lazy now to check does these phones have same chipset... and even with same chipset, we are stuck with old kernel.
Guest loboloco Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Anyone noticed any unusual battery drainage after installing this mod? Changed to another battery, still very short life ( 3-4 hours on stand by). Thank you

Changed to another battery, still very short life ( 3-4 hours on stand by). Thank you Yes, but disabling some google services and stuff helped :D THanks to this battery drainage my phone went off overnight and I didn't go to school! :D Thanks Google for the most awesome software ever xDDDD
Guest vir00z Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 I've tested this ROM, and I can say that it is pretty, but not as smooth as CM 10.1. I suffer a few restarts (but I assume, that it is normal - besause of age of this ROM).
