Guest catone37 Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 For five months, every day I installed one, two or three custom ROM, including updates for each ROM, hoping to find what is best for my device. Even if we want, the Y300 does it help configuration. With v2 and CeXstel Kernel 0.61 (on AnTuTu) I got 7484. It was the best score. It's a friendly device, but poor in hardware endowment. Thanks Dani for V1 and V2, but I returned to B199. My guess is that the B199 would be more suitable.

Reverting your device back to using the internal storage and the SD as external will help as it doesn't suffer as much with reading and writing access/speeds. 7695 was my result using the SD card as External rather then Internal and some tweaks I've incorporated into the ROM myself. Guest Gliwusss Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Dani I have a question :D I'm just curious, what i/o sheduler and cpu governor are you using daily? And btw. b199 based Fluffy is incredible super idea :)

Guest Victod Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) I'm using intellidemand and CQF now. Use INTELLIDEMAND and SIO or DEADLINE! ^_^ pikachu01, on 18th September 2011, 12:12 AM (Last edited by pikachu01; 9th January 2012 at 12:13 PM.), said: I/O scheduler tweaks Another tweak that can be done is the I/O scheduler tweak. Some kernels come with a few standard I/O schedulers while others have extra schedulers that you can choose from. I'll explain the few that I know and if you have more information on the schedulers, you can post it here for everyone to discuss/shareCFQ - Completely fair. Most will come with this, but this is not optimized for android. Some kernels do optimize it and use it.Noop - Simple and least overhead of all I/O schedulers. Produces the best outcome for some cases and some do swear by it. It's downside is that it is easily bogged down by high I/O transactions.Deadline - Optimized for mobile-like devices like Android. Also, some do swear by this. If its writes_starve sysfs is tweaked to be fair, it's the same as SIO.SIO - It's a fair deadline scheduler. It's the best scheduler. Nuff said.VR - A newer I/O scheduler that places penalty on reverse seeks. Not for flash drives, though the R penalty can be tweaked to be a multiplier of 1. Even if this is done, it has a high overhead.. Read more here: http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/IA64wi...ng/VRschedulerBFQ - Too high of an overhead, it is optimized for spindle disks. You can pick and choose from Voltage Control or other UV/OC apps and apply it immediately to feel the difference. Here's my assessment of all the schedulers that I know: SIO> NOOP> Deadline > VR > BFQ > CFQ Edited March 3, 2014 by Victod
Guest demianmasnah Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 For me at the moment fluffyupdate 3 the best rom for y300, v2 dont works on y300 :( Dani i vote for fluffy b199. Your rom and tweaks are great
Guest Gliwusss Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 ok I'll try SIO :) for me v2 on y300 is fully working, no bugs...
Guest bogdanwp Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) You have my vote also. And my sword. And my axe :)). All i ever wanted was a stock rom with the sound capability of speaker / headphones / in-call quality of CM roms. Also maybe the blacklist option. Good luck if you decide to go ahead and work on the rom :P Cheers -------- Edit : the stock sound quality of this phone is utter crap speaker and in-call-wise. Vipersound and stuff like that don`t seem to work , for me at least. That`s the only thing holding me back from it Edited March 3, 2014 by bogdanwp

Guest blagoie Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Dani2014 you hear the ringtone when you call skype I do not hear
Guest Dani2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Okay ... for B199 i make a new thread :D
Guest demez Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Really looking forward to your stock version. As nice as different custom roms can be, this phone runs best with stock. I hope you can find a way to incorporate the superior sound and wireless that CM roms seem to have though. That would be amazing. i only install fluffyrom v2 and i have problem with google play and browser, i dont know why I had an issue the first time I installed it, kept getting play store issues, even after removing and re-adding my account. I ended up wiping and reflashing again and it seems to be working fine now. Though admittingly I don't notice any real world differences between v1 and v2.
Guest Gliwusss Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 i use powersave min 19 Mhz and max 700 Mhz with cexstek .0.57 But powersave governor stops clock on minimal frequency, so how are you using android phone with 19mhz freq like old Nokia (:D)? And games on it? Strange for me :p And what battery life do You have? btw: i use FluffyRom v1 with update 2 and 3 :D Why not v2?
