In build.prop change line 'ro.product.model' from g510 to y300.

Open with root explorer: "./system/build.prop"

Search this line:

 

ro.product.model=Ascend Y300

 

change to:

 

ro.product.model=Ascend G-510

 

Save and reboot  ;)

To install V1 you then need to flash Update 2 and Update 3.

I tried this rom, but I do not like is heavy, use too much ram and is confusing

You cab strip back a lot of the bloatware with Titanium Backup app (or such apps) and remove what's not needed, also if you have android tuner you can revert back the entropy levels to read 64 and write 128 that'll help with battery drain. Edited March 5, 2014 by Scopewiz

Same for me, in my opinion, CM10 is good, light and fast. There's too much things (app) on this rom that make it too heavy. Lots of tweaks in build.prop are confusing :

done, but I do not understand why the zram I do not work with CyanogenMod

and if it does not work does not make sense to keep a cyano...

I put the fusionX but even with the cpu in deep sleep but battery drops slightly the same, I do not understand why, just bought (2.5 months ago) did not happen with the stock rom

thank you for the job, but it's not like the samsung you're used to, we do not like the bloatware (although disinstalllabile) and the rom too confusing and modified compared to stock Android

used it for a day or two..works smooth but sometimes lags and freezes little plus i can't use video call in Tango for me at least is not working ..and i don't used much apps and no gaming i use just viber calls are fine,wechat works all video and calling just with Tango problems video not connecting at all and freezing lots of times

Also another problem i was facing when went somewhere and new Wifi network it didn't find it even scanning for it only after turned off then on saw new connection..that is not much of a problem because connects fast

 

 

Thanks for the great work overall is just the Tango video call and little lags at times ^_^

I have a G510
I tried to install the fluffy v2
but unfortunately the wifi does not work

the phone recognizes the network but will not connect
even after I installed the "wi-fi fix" from recovery

 

someone can help me? :(

fluffy rom is a cyanogenmod modified (good game performace, but confused and deep)

fusionX (good game performace ad very good autonomy) is the best stock based, the best CM is the 10 or 10.1 by kratos (no good game performace)

best KK rom is SlimKat (but orrible game performace)

use TWRP 2.7 , cwm have som bug and is less practice than twrp

TWRP 2.7 is having some issue. Don't use it until 2.7.0.1 is out.

meanwhile you can use 2.6.3.3
