now i see all the stuff you wrote, missed it on tapatalk on MY ROOTED COOLPAD :)

 

anyway, which tool are u using to flash? i used the official coolpad's and an image which is over 1 GB when unpacked. check if maybe your download broke without you realizing it, it happened to me too

 

once again, i DID NOT use the flash tools for anything so... if you're trying to flash via flash tools, maybe that's where the error is...

I have used 1.7.3 version of Coolpad Download Assistant- 98 % mistake. After that i used 1.8.0 version - mistake too

Rom is 4.2.020.P0.140409.8297W.CPB  020 verion is 1.12 Gb

don't press ok then. i didn't until i was sure that the process was finished (almost 10 minutes after reboot) and THEN i pressed the ok button. maybe that's the key?

 

try this

 

- unplug phone and close the flashing tool

- remove battery

- put the battery back in

- set the phone to fastboot

- connect to computer/laptop

- wait until the drivers finish installing. make sure they are installed and are no mistakes. you can help this process by running fastboot and adb.exe from adbsomething folder in the drivers' pack

- start the flashing tool, select the rom and click the button

- don't touch anything until the phone reboots and enters the system normally

- press the ok button on the computer and disconnect your phone

Managed to follow the above and install coolpad v20 using coolpad flash tool, got the smiley face and green button at 100%, disconnected phone and only get the black screen with Chinese writing on, 5 mins later pulled battery and restarted now have soft brick, re flashed with normal flash tool phone back to ok..... Not sure what is going on, but it could be that you have to leave phone for about 10mins to reboot etc
