can anyone help of 8297 user..just like borsosg did

i need boot.img and uboot.bin of these build rom....many of u downloaded in ur pc

I dont find "uboot.bin" in unzipped files + I uploaded the boot.img from 035 (TD-SCDMA baseband version) to the folder that I shared before.

if u do this step then u will get those files

 

1.FIRST DOWNLOAD ROM

2. INSTALL YDP TOOL

3. UNZIP ROM IN NEW FOLDER

4. OPEN YDP TOOL FROM DESKTOP

5. CLICK ON CONFIG >BROWSE .CPB FORMAT (THE ONE EXTRACTED FROM ROM IN NEW FOLDER)

IN MOBILE SECTION SELECT,8297W_101

AND CLICK ON APPLY

IT WILL DO PROCESS AND U WILL SEE UNZIP DONE....

6. NOW GO TO LOCATION WHERE U INSTALLED YDP TOOL IN C DRIVER OR OTHER

OPEN YDP TOOL FOLDER

HERE U WILL GET DOWNLOAD IMAGE FOLDER

THEN AGAIN U WILL SEE 8297BLABLA FOLDER

COPY THIS FOLDER TO SOMEWHERE ELSE LOCATION

7. NOW CLOSE YDP TOOL,START SP FLASH TOOL

8. LOAD SCATTER FROM THE FOLDER U COPIED IN 6TH STEP.

9. IT WILL LOAD ALL FILES

NOW UNTICK THESE FILES

PANIC,

AUTOBAK,

YL_PARAM

10. CLICK ON DOWNLOAD

11. SWITCH OFF UR CELL

12. PRESS VOLUME BUTTON BOTH AND CONNECT UR CELL IN PC PORT 3.0 (IF U USING WIN 7)

(IF U FORGET TO PRESS VOLUME BUTTON...THEN U WILL SEE ERROR LIKE CROM BROM BLABLA )

13. IT WILL START DOWNLOAD AND AFTER GREEN CIRCLE OK..

REMOVE CELL ...RESTART

Ok I see. When YGDP Tool unzip the CPB file there is a file: "lk.bin" SP flashtool see this file like uboot.

iI just bought a Coolpad F1 with 036 system version. I get 039 update option but when i try it give me an error and stops. please help.

That is normal and how most people get their phone. Your 036 it's the English version, the 039 it's the Chinese so you don't want to update it anyway.

I'd suggest you root, if it isn't already so.

Create CWM backup and copy the Clockworkmod folder that is created to your computer.

Then go to the F1 section on Needrom.com and download Pure AOSP by Jonzalvo and flash that from recovery.

That's a good place to start with this phone.

Yeah, I wasn't certain about that. I know it won't let you download the 039 though. Maybe there should be a "Beginners" sticky post on the forum with this info in it? I know it's all here somewhere but it's a bit sprawling now.

Surely you can Google the dimensions of the relevant iPhone and Samsung Galaxy handsets and then compare them to the F1's dimensions?!

You are right dakok, this gionee rom is a NEW release, it's 31-10 by lzy_2

Maybe some bugs are fixed

just tested, the bugs remain

and the most critical one , you can't answer incoming call (app crashes)

 mixanikosgr, did you try plugging only one sim in slot 1? If I remember correctly, this rom should only work with one sim

small OT: dakok, do you know something about the lenovo note8 with mt6795? I was looking some videos on youtube and found a short video about it from telekineza channel... the price seems shocking for such a soc, do you have some news on how it performs?
