has anyone found a way to actually mount storage as mass usb?

 

tried several roms and all use MTP with no other options :\

 

If someone can make a dummmies guide to getting mass storage it would be appreciated :)

@Arpione well I had 2.7 but after wiping with it to install Micromax AOSP, the recovery button changed (???) and now I need to use vol+ also after that I flashed 2.4.4 and then I couldn't recover the backup with 2.7 what a party. I had to restore an old backup to flash 2.7 again. Now I'm using 2.4.4

I'm using 4.4.3 rom now! It's soooo smooth but AnTuTu gave me an error :/ I can expect between 30k and 29k like other KK. But this one is great, with gapps and xPosed is a fast rom!

I'm trying it right now, you can find it some pages back! Indeed its 4.4.3 camera focus is much faster! also great quality :D

if you want check some things like led light,capasitive buttons,wifi,haptic feedback,proximity and the other sensors,game performance,notifications,etc and tell us..!

3D performance is the same as other KK, 2D seems better! Everything seems to work fine! Now I'd like to change boot screen and all cause it uses an ugly one :/

Yes, the latest one for TD phones - build 092 (I've red somewhere that it's the last JB release for TD)

I am cleaning bloatware now, and tomorrow I will patch it for WCDMA and add Gapps and set EN UI and CE timezone

Source is the ATX custom 092 release

There's a separate topic for the patches here. You only have to install the latest ones, I left the older camera driver there in case some bug is found in the new one.

I flashed latest SuperSu and now it works great! But this rom have a problem with the storage, some apps save stuff in internal memory instead of SD card I'm trying to solve this with not much success. Help is needed. Battery is behaving nice, -10% 1h of screen more or less...

It doesn't change the internal SD patch tho. I have the SD card as default storage, camera saves pictures there and everything fine, but WeChat for example, saves things on /sdcard and not in /storage/sdcard1 by default. Laek solved this in his roms but dunno how to do it :(

BTW I tried XInternalSd xPosed module to change the path, but it gives me an error :(

And the rom already comes with the changes in permissions.

Snipped my PAYG SIM card with my £1.50 cutter of eBay, I just did it in one hard crunch, and it worked perfectly!

 

Put it in the GSM slot, flashed the 'PURE' AOSP rom, plus the patches.

 

All seems good so far!

I must add that 4.4.3 rom is multilang! And I solved the storage thing, now that rom is perfect, it's a nice base for a Laek V5! :)

I'm with an MVNO here in Ireland and they let you swap your mini SIM for a dual mini/micro SIM if you want.

I'm surprised that other operators elsewhere don't facilitate this?

They do, but you probably have to wait a week...

PD: I solved the SD card thing with an xPosed module called Downloads2SD. With it I changed download and pictures folder with the /storage/sdcard1 ones, and magically it works fine! ^^
