Anyone have CoolLife 5.5 camera apk and can upload it somewhere? I'd like to compare it to Pure AOSP stock camera and Lenovo super camera, please.

I tried to extract and install that apk, unfortunately it didn't install, it's not compatible with the AOSP! :( Let's hope the next official AOSP comes with a camera properly configured!

Please upload it, have you tried to put the apk in /system/app? I want to try to install it, now I can't because I'm on vacation.

I tried every kind of way, it didn't install. Unfortunately I don't have anymore the apk, I deleted it, but you can recover it inside one of the roms based on coolife (I suggest the latest from bdss, since they don't put passwords on their ZIP)

What's MTKtweak? can we use it in the AOSP roms? could be useful.

I think thats an app for various, mostly visual tweaks, made by some devs from Anzhi forum.

You can't use it as a single app, it needs some stuff in rom, too.

I saw it on a custom rom once - it made nice list view animations...

I have this problem. I freezed the NOVA launcher as I thought that I had installed the google now launcher. I closed all programs and restarted the phone. When loading it freezes to the Coolpad logo (Chinese letters). I have no copy of any ROM in my phone storage. So stupid of me not to keep the nandroid.

 

I tried to follow the unbricking post but when I opened the Coolpad download assistant (v. 1.85) it asks to load or download a ROM i guess. It looks for CPB files in the computer though.In addittion ROM is in zip folder. What can I do? Any help please?

Do you have recovery? CWM or twrp. You can flash another rom if you do.

They might be good. 

First one is customised new factory beta 038 release and another is customised Slyder's MIUI (based on official rom).

I would rather wait for the kitkat release :)

Latest MIUI v5 (4.8.3) for 8297 (TD-SCDMA version) has been released today on MIUI page: http://en.miui.com/download-208.html

(can be adapted to 8297W by copying modem firmware files)

I have lewa os installed...do i need to wipe before flashing or just flash like an update or it is rom by itself just like other
