Guest Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 install this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en and follow the instructions i found this tutorial too..http://www.androidpit.com/how-to-calibrate-the-battery-on-your-android-device
Guest dalyer Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Regards, i have a coolpad 8297 and i flashed them with needroom Samsung note 3 and after that i dont have a IMEI.... i try a several option from modaco and from other forum, and dont work... at the and i was see that version od mobile is TD-scdma/gsm... i dont have any prevoius backup (nvram, rom etc) moze i na hrvatskom odgovor ;) Not sure but maybe if you mismatch the ROM with the device (e.g. TD-SCDMA ROM on WCDMA model or vice versa) you "lose" the IMEI? So any chance you have a WCDMA ROM on this device and flashing a TD-SCDMA ROM will return your IMEI to normal?
Guest miky_maus Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 I cant find any tutorial how to back to stock TD-SCDNA firmware
Guest dalyer Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) I cant find any tutorial how to back to stock TD-SCDNA firmware See here: http://www.modaco.com/topic/372543-coolpad-f1-8297w-review-info-software-custom-roms/#entry2212206 Basic Stuff For Beginners - Easy Peasy Setup I'm not sure where the 8297 (not W) original stock ROMs are but there is one here: http://androidxda.com/download-coolpad-stock-rom-models Edit: Ignore that - seems to be a CWM/TWRP zip rather than a CPB file... Maybe somebody else can advice on where to find an original 8297/TS-SCDMA stock ROM in CPB format if necessary...? Edited November 18, 2014 by dalyer
Guest mindtrapper Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 let me know how fix permissions went,i also forgot that issue and tweaked some system files yesterday and now i have the double/triple reboots issue but i don't want to flash the rom again..! Cwm 6.0.5.0 doesn't have a fix permissions option, so I installed TWRP 2.4 and fixed then and then went back to Cwm. That was 2 or 3 reboots and I didn't have any bootloop, but can't be sure it's fixed. Also all recoveries think I have lost root and offer to fix it for me, I just choose no, I think if you choose yes you will lose root. Try it, can't hurt.
Guest Milanche78 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Is this a bug on Coolui 018 by atx, i can not turn on the location service by wifi and gsm network while the gps is turned off.
Guest dinoHR Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Has anybody managed to enable USB mass storage Anyone?
Guest elaadhn Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 nope . Ok I finally found a clue for what is causing my locked screen. turns out my wife is getting sms messages in Chinese: 我的手机可能被盗,请保留发送此短信的号码。 which translates to :"My phone may be stolen, please keep sending this message number." no other details, and the number is either sim i put in. I also tried the sims Pin, PUK etc numbers from my operator. looked for any possible antitheft app I could have installed on the phone in the past, but cant find anything other than the google device manager and where's my droid, and both seem unrelated. any Ideas?
Guest dakok Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Your phone thinks it's stolen :)
Guest martinoff Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 Try to change imei but I don't know how to do it Maybe find a nvram and flash it

At first, you have been activate mobile anti theft on security setting. Which is, after you activated it, then the service will confirm it by a text message. You should save the code then. Because service will active on KitKat. And i can't help you with it. Just stick on jellybean rom to avoid it. The only solution was in your text message confirmation. Others, idk.

Try it, can't hurt. Twrp 2.7.0 won't show that you have lost root. Probably it happens because of using an old recovery that is not developed for kitkat.

Thanks but i'm unfamiliar with any anti theft security setting that is built into kitkat, defiantly not one that includes lost sms options, and certainly not in Chinese. it's possible this is something from the first coolpad rom that arrived with the phone. I never received any code by sms anyway. if this is true to kit kat only, then it doesn't explain how the phone works fine with kitkat coolui roms, not just jellybeans. seems only aosp kitkat is an issue. looking at my titanium backup files, there is one app called "mobile anti theft 1.0", but google didn't help to figure it what that is. A310 micromax decrapiffied is crap. lots of bugs and issues. battery seems great at first, but after the first 10 %, drops very quickly. had numerous issues with lag in incoming calls and lock screen, dropped call, hanging up opens the date and time options (!?), notifications and ringtone going silent... at least the trusted AOSP 2.0 and MIUI are working ok (except for the annoying proximity sensor bug), but I miss multilang and kitkat :( Edited November 19, 2014 by elaadhn

Guest userDJJ Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) any solution for my problem http://www.modaco.com/topic/372543-coolpad-f1-8297w-review-info-software-custom-roms/page-164#entry2240296 What about looking 1st page / 2nd post from dakok, where you search for keyword "lost imei" ? It is not wise to post your imei number on the web.Why did you buy 8297 version without W ? Try applying patch dakot suggested me 3 days ago. http://www.modaco.com/topic/372543-coolpad-f1-8297w-review-info-software-custom-roms/page-162#entry2239848 On post #3229 you can see my attempts, because i had similar issue. About 1st step when using SP_Flash_Tool: 1. Choose the scatter file. (MT6592_Android_scatter.txt) normaly is inside the ROM folder you unzip it before. Use YGDP, load stock fw in cpb format, choose 8297W, wait untill file gets unpacked, within X:\YLXZGJ\YGDP\ you will find that file. Last stock fw for 8297W is 041 http://www.yulong.com/product/product/product/load.html?productBO.product.id=6471&productBO.menuId=5082 http://download.yulong.com///DOWNLOAD_INFO/20140915083735418(2).rar Edited November 19, 2014 by userDJJ
