This bauidu ota update is not so innocent, it removed my cwm with their chinese so i had to flash with YGDP + (cwm) recovery.img replace trick in order to restore my previous made working backup.

 

It is very innocent. :)

Almost every china custom rom has the root.

Baidu releases have root incorporated, too.

So if your CWM gets replaced by Baidu's, you simply install that CWM 6.0.5.0 apk file or use the regular MobileUncle way.

Turn phone off, run YGDP, config -> choose right phone model -> apply (now wait untill it unpack cpb) then replace recovery.img, click start, now turn phone on with power button, if you have proper drivers and no other phone software is running (like nokia pc suite, kies) process should start using port com8 and should be finished in approx 5 minutes, if cell 0 progress bar is moving that is good sign.

anyone knows if there is any rom out there that supports 3g on both sim slots?I remember that i saw some in some chinese custom rom descriptions that they had enabled both slots to support 3g
