Is there any 4.2 AOSP worth trying, Jonzalvo's aside?

 

I'm having some trouble with hjthzz rom, which is a Jonzalvo's remake, namely mount points and partitions if you're not using an external sd for storage.

 

As I understand, this "issue" was already present in Jonzalvo's previous roms by design

 

We've tried, with hjthzz, a couple of things regarding fstab and init.rc to no avail, so there's must be something we're missing

 

I've tried searching back in different forum threads, looking for a fix, but, at the time, no one seemed to notice, nor care about this.

 

I've never had any issues related to this with any rom, and I've flashed plenty, both JB and KK... stock, baidu, emui, lewa, aosp.. you name it

 

Maybe someone more knowledgeable than us could take a look and point us in the right direction or offer a fix

I've been having a problem with the EMUI unicom rom i flashed a couple of weeks ago, it randomly refuses to accept any texts/calls or allow you to make any calls/texts until you reboot. Problem is that you don't know when its doing this and could potentially be missing out on a lot of calls/texts.

 

Is this ATX 025 in english? any bugs? When you get some time could you possibly provide a mirror link for it?

You can find the link in the first post but it isn't an atx release. Look for the ydss rom link.

All recent coolui roms have the word-cut-in-the-middle bug.

I did not found any way to overcome that.

Then installed Mobileuncle Tools to see what is this radio. There have button with name "Turn on radio" in menu Phone information, but it doesn't work for me.

Any chance that your phone is the TD-SCDMA model rather than the WCDMA model?

If not then try flashing again with all wipes/formats.

Dude, your phone is not f1 8297W but Coolpad F1 Plus 4G, luckily you didn't brick your phone with rom for f1 (qualcomm vs mediatek).

If you used cwm for flashing, restore stock rom (you did make backup).

Ops the seller changed the listing with 4g. My phone is 100% Coolpad F1 8297w 3G MTK6592 Octa Core 1.7GHz.

It is a very rare, hard to get model. You have to use special google hacks to find about Coolpad F2 W00 :p

I've flashed stock ROM (4.2.041.P0.140904.8297W_2) with YGDP. After that I wanted to install google aps. I've tried google services patch, but I'm having problems with the step 4: "4 Click into the developer options down to the final surface to find "GMS package pre-installed" option, click, the system prompts "Restart phone GMS package will install", click OK to install;"

I go to the developer options, but can't find anything similar to this...

 

Then I decided to root the phone, instal custom CWM, and google aps through it. Managed to do that. And everything is ok.

Main reason I've flashed the stock ROM is that I had stock rom 036, and it always wanted to update. When I press update, it would rebote, try to update and failed. Someone from this forum advised me to install a newer version of the stock rom, and that should solve the problem. But problem is still here. I get this screen a lot, and it's very irritating. When I allow the update, it reboots to custom CWM and the update fails, I assume it's because it now has custom CWM,

 

So basically I would like if someone could help me with ONE of these 2 things:

1) How to install Google services without custom CWM? (the method from the guide doesn't work, or I'm doing something wrong)

2) How to permanently remove that nagging screen that keeps showing up, reminding me to update ( http://i.imgur.com/tIDmCnp.jpg )

 

3) One important question, now when I have the customs CWM installed can I repeat the same procedure of flashing the stock ROM through YGDP? Or has anything changed?

It's been a while since I used stock ROM ,but that update notification should appear in notification bar too? If it does long press on it, go to app details/information and uncheck the send notifications box.
