NO, you did not..

Initial edited post was at 09:29

:P

Anyway, this rom feels like 4.2.2 rather than 4.4.2.

First readings from gsam: Δ:15,6%/h and SOT 3h 40m.

i'll do a calibration because i get a 271182:29 talk time.. :)

Also, internal/external storage is, somehow, merged and...messed.

Storage menu shows 171Gb total space of phone storage, 5.64Gb total space of SD card and 16.49Gb total space of internal storage.

It could have been expected. Interpolated camera goes with interpolated storage space :D

That 3D score looked really good so I looked into the zip, sadly it's just a JB rom...

You won't get indoor GPS lock with network off.

How really good it is, does it deserve it's own topic?

Battery, camera, SIM management, signal, fluency - is it worth trying?

And this is outdoor.

Camera is perfect.. Best jb camera I've ever seen.

Gsm Signal is very strong. Sound clean and clear.. A little better than a310 on headset, much better on external speaker.

2g/3g only on sim 1. You can't set apns because menu crashes. But apns are automatically set on sim 1. Using Mobileuncl, maybe, you can set apn on sim 2.

Wifi is strong without disconnecting.

Battery......... Hmm, i think its draining a little fast, twice as a310. I get a Δ:9,1%/h.

This behavior leads to jb not kk.

Overall: a very fast, lag free, brand name ported rom with most of the original features functioning properly.

I think, it's worth a try.

P. S. : multiple touch on "Android Version" tab, under "About phone", shows a rotating "K"

Thanks, does  Δ:9,1%/h result in Δ:91%/10h meaning empty battery in just half a day?

i always get indoor gps lock with network off.It is about where you live, weather conditions and how many floors you have above you.

To be specific, in standby mode, it consumes 4%.

I think it's 4h maximum sot with medium to heavy use.

I'm not sure, i think it's power eater..

P. S. : battery behavior reminds me my previous phone, an iNew V3 (non kitkat version). Especially the fast draining to 87%, then stall at 85% quite a long time.

P. S. 2: xposed installed, gravity box installed and functioning properly...(except tiles)

True...

I always tought that you have to have an (mostly) open view to a specific GPS/GLONASS/Beidou  satellite to have the reception.

No chance to get a signal through a concrete wall or more of them.

Only way to get the signal inside building is from those satellites low on horizon, through the windows or window/balcony openings.

Has anyone tried the Pomp OS port posted over at 4pda

http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=595613&view=findpost&p=37118125

Gapps, multilang, very smooth. It has that miui/emui kind of look, but with an app drawer

Seems like a nice enough rom, but it's unusable for people that don't have an external sd.

Before start messing with it, do you know if there's a patch/zip for this storage thing?

What do you mean unusable without sd card?

I am using EMUI 3.0 in A311 everything works except Front Camera and Proximity sensor...

Any solutions for these bugs..??

For instance, you won't be able to store any photo or screenshot if you don't have an external sd

You posted here that they were not working in HiveUI either:

http://www.modaco.com/topic/374254-rom442-hiveui-by-parlan-gooner/page-3#entry2246914

So if they don't work in two different ROMs then perhaps it's a hardware problem?

But its working in Himax Polymer's Rom & Also working on Hive UI that i Ported using A311's Stock Rom as Base.

But in EMUI rom when i replace lib files with Stock libs it doesn't boot.

S5-ROM

Camera is perfect.. Best jb camera I've ever seen.

Also, it's very fast focusing using "a better camera"  app.

Which one would you keep?

A310 v3 AOSP or S5?

Triple boot?

I'd like to see a micromax base aosp. I've PMed usermau, but don't know if he would be interested

Well, it has that right sidebar widget thing that's built in the launcher. Sure, you can freeze it or uninstall it, and you're nearly there, but I'd like to see a smaller footprint version, similar to maucat's aosp.

If only for the sake of comparison. It has been done with a phillips base. Does a micromax base makes less sense?
