Damn I'll need to give an oportunity to Jason OS again lol.. I'd thank so much a version without the chinese apps, I really don't know what I can delete and what not.  :wacko:

Titanium backup is your friend :-) You can freeze all the chinese apps and more, services you don t use for exmple fm radio, theme, backup, updater, baidu input, miui gallery and camera ( I use lenovo camera), gmail, some google services (serach, google+ and so on), mi pop, news and weather, payment, talk back, viper, xiaomi service and framework and so on... you can alwys test it... 

Android tweaker app is also nice you can try this version or android tweaker 2 from playstore, this app has some good tweaks.

I also turn off 3g, wifi, sync and some other stuff when I don t use it... Under developing options GPU rendering also off ( it has better performance but I think it cost more battery, for some 10 to 15%), animations set to 0..

Velis autobrightness is nice app also...

/data/miui/apps/SogouInput.apk is removed in latest zip

Everything else is the same.

Well, I'm using JasonOS right now, but I have a pair of issues: I can't use high speed data in SIM2 (I could with Pure AOSP) I only see the "E" and not the "H+", never, and everything I download from the play store seems is so big I get the notification of "downloading only on wifi" on everything... But after all I need a solution for the data u.u this rom is really good in the end.

For "downloading only over wifi" problem you go under downloads folder > settings > data usage and tick unlimited

But i'm not sure this is the good version for my phone. They say 8297W Unicom edition. Does WCDMA = Unicom edition, or is there an other model ? I seems that Unicom is using wcdma in china, so maybe that just means they built the wcdma version for Unicom.

 

Also it seems, there is no 039 version on their site, only 036.

Matter of fact - no.
There is a chance of bricking
phone while flashing rom over USB.

Like the possibility that BSOD happens or something like that.

I promised a proof of extra low power consumption in JasonOS rom.

 

Battery can supply enough power for FULL THREE DAYS of phone use.

with amazing 6 hours of screen-on time.

 

I used to have 1.5 - 2 days with up to 5 hours SOT with various roms.

I set auto airplane mode from 12:50 - 6:20 during night.

WiFi was switched off when not in use (not all the time - often I was forgetting to switch it off)

yep, actually I don't think there is a safer option than the CWM/TWRP installation! 

Great results dakok! almost 6 hours screen with also a moderate use of wifi and phone signal is a very nice result! :)

BTW, does anyone know how to translate coolpad ui ? I bought the multilingual version, but only android setting menu is translated ..
