Guest mindtrapper Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 If I am correct about this, this should be 3rd stock AOSP release (Micromax AOSP, Himax AOSP, Taiwan 8297w-S01 AOSP) It is only slightly customized by amjads (from Taiwan) Taiwan AOSP If it's any good, please mention amjads name (you may mention me, too) :D EDIT: Compare SS from the first taiwanese AOSP release (we never got the hold of it) and from this new release: Taiwan AOSP for F1.png EDIT: I compared build prop with that of Nitro AOSP and they are very similar. Found out that it hasn't got this line (that is present in Nitro rom): ro.config.ringtone_sim2=blablasomething.mp3 Does this mean we can add SIM2 separate ringtone support with a simple build.prop edit? The setting for saving to sd doesn't work (no restart and apps still choose internal). Also brightness behaves very similar to A310, this is probably the same rom or very very similar to MMX. Rista reported at telekineza forum that Taiwan AOSP has faster charging, autobrightness has lower light level, no separate SIM2 ringer, it has normal lockscreen If rom is the same, why would someone remove ro.config.ringtone_sim2=blablasomething.mp3 code line from MMX stock rom? All these work in other roms (maucat, L rmg, vanilla I think). If the phone doesn't restart after you choose sd card in storage settings then something is wrong. (which is the best emui 3.0) everything works, it has kangviptools, it has some chinese apps (freezed with titanium), good battery backup, I didnt try version from fire team so I cant tell...
