i don't see anything L about that rom. just pure aosp like the other one. 

 

incidently, i rebooted my phone yesterday afternoon and the freezing went away. this morning my phone rings and i cannot answer because the damn thing froze again... changing the rom, this is crap

every AOSP that has been linked is one of the two I linked on the very first day they came out, they are both based on the same rom, so they are basically the same! The only new entry is laek rom (also based on the very same rom the nibiru one), I'm still waiting for the taiwanese AOSP to show up!

I hope they release it, it looked much better than the actual AOSPs, also I hope they repare the backup restore problem. Regardless wich program you use for restore the backups).

I installed it, but the Play store is not working, it says "no connection". it can find apps, but it can't load the app download page

This is not WCDMA! You must use WCDMA patch before install it.

Is it normal that when i click on Chinese apps, its says "app isnt installed"?

I think they are removed but only the icon stays, am i right?

There's a fix for phone freeze when in gets in deep sleep: App "Safe Charge". It prevents the phone enter in deep sleep when charging it, so when you grab it in the morning it won't hang when you're going to unlock it :)

I'm new to this forum. 

I have my Coolpad F1 8297TD-SCDMA for a while now,

I really like the phone, but I want to root it and install Gapps (and maybe install a Custom ROM later on it).

 

My current version is 4.2.075. Can I just use Vroot to root. Is there somewhere a guide how to do it or is it self-explanatory?

On first page you find vroot and explanation, it's pretty easy! ;) 
Are you sure your phone is TD-SCDMA? if it's the case (and you don't live in china) you can't use 3g data, at least in europe. Be careful when you download roms, if you flash the WCDMA versions (the one almost everyone has here) you won't be able to use sim signal and make calls (nothing that is unsolvable with a backup restore or a patch)!
