Apk starts and asks which cwm to install. There are two CWMs to choose - you should pick second one (first one is Chinese version)

 

6.0.5.0 works fine but it has a bug - when I tried to restore my backup made in it, I found that it's in internal storage.

Luckily I had few backuped roms on External SD

Otherwise it was OK, I flashed several roms through it and it behaved well.

So you could give it a chance

Dakok I finally managed to found out what was causing all those problems with installing ROMs.
memory card needed format,I didnt pay attention as did CWM recovery warn me about and windows himself and after I did formatting all ROMs that didnt want flash now are flashing fine :D

Finally I'm going to try AOSP rom and if I dont find it useful back to Baidu repack by you ! ;)

 

Anyway is there Coolife UI 5.5 rom without those chinese security apps and unremovable screens with Chinese widgets ?

So basically I'm asking does anyone have ROM without Chinese security apps and that screens that is by any chance rooted and lite ?

 

 

Wait a bit with AOSP. I have a report about lost IMEI after flashing one of the recent AOSP releases...

Rooted, Lite, With basic Coolpad security apps. Don't remove those

Antutu is over 31000 :)

 

You cam remove that widget in CoolShow settings :)

Thanks about warning but already flashed and tried and when I saw no customization of status bar nor other bar,I immediately flashed Baidu and now I'm setting again.
IMEI is still here,nothing wrong,thanks God it didnt wipe.

Now downloading this,gonna try it tommorow,I want to ask what apps did you remove addiotionally from Baidu repack ( security and bloatware apps ).

I'm getting some notification in Chinese ( panda logo ? ) what is that ?

Your solution is xposed framework + gravitybox.

i have done to flashing my stock rom using YGDP software, after flashing, its totaly back to normal like a new phone , hehehe

 

dude, I want to install my previous rom installed earlier, but with WCDMA version and last update of course, can you show a link where I should download the rom?

AOSP have all the same grade of graphical customization (almost none, you can only do something via gravitybox). I don't like that memories are inverted in that AOSP.

I think it is time for someone who tested those KK roms to write down few words about experience

and flashing procedure so I could make few more links on the First page :)

 

(things specific for flashing 4.4 Kitkat -> root, SuperSU, patch for 3G (wcdma), etc...)

Downloaded letest flashable rom (4.2.039.P0.140801.8297W.CPB) I put my phone on bootloader (Factory mode on top. and fastboot mode in the bottom), I open the Coolpad flash tool, i load the CPB, go next, there's 2 bars, the first go 100% and the other below don't do nothing.

 

My phone stays in the fastboot screen. Nothing. Any way to flash the room with flashtools or something?

I lost the imei too because i flash a KK ROM that Dakok posted two-three days ago.

I restore Finally with the pack says Dakok. You have to press the power and volume - or + ( i think) when the red bar appears and then will continue the flash process... yeah i was fighting this morning with this XD

I have the IMEIs backups but none of them worked :/ I'm downloading the Soda rom zip, does it come with the scatter txt? (lol english, dime c'oo lo hiciste por PM pls D:)

You are third one that lost IMEI from flashing that rom. It was KK rom by F.I.R.E Team on page 45 and I removed it now.

Use Soda's restore pack (use it on XP or win7) - it is tested and confirmed to be good by many users
