Can anyone check if on 4.4.x ROMs WIFI LEAP username + password authentication works (configured by any *LEAP* app as settings don't allow to configure LEAP)?

On 4.2.2 it doesn't work (on all phones, not only MTK based) - wpa_supplicant bug which came with 4.2 (worked fine on Android versions between 2.3 - 4.1.2) and still persisting even on few 4.3 & 4.4 phones.

Is there anyone who could check that?

You have root in Lewa, actually. It needs to be enabled in settings.

99% of Chinese custom roms (the ones prepared for flashing through CWM/TWRP) have root.

announced in India yesterday

It's nice to see more vendors with good support rebranding Coolpad, but regarding new Android releases I'm affraid that there's much dependency on MediaTek releases base ROMs for MT6592.

I'm sure that we will not see Android L for any of these models until MediaTek will release their ROM/source of Android L for MT6592 and as seen in past MediaTek support and new releases is not so good.

A guy from Croatian forum kindly asks you to check recording framerate in low light conditions in kitkat (or other) roms.

He gets 16 fps at best.

Could you check that please, it seems to be very important to him :)

REALLY? are he sure he's in low light condition? I only get 5,6 fps max! :/

I wouldn't get my hopes up about that rom, in the video it only got 28877 points in antutu 5, which is quite bad. What I don't get is how can everyone else make an AOSP KK rom for this phone but not Coolpad...

"Camera performance". When the whites in low light conditions have a ugly greenish tone... that you can't solve at all even changing white balance.

Yes it is expansive, i purchased this phone before a 5 Months ago directly from China (Aliexpress) at about 208 USD with Fedex Shipping and i paid custom duty app. 15 USD...Total 223 USD...Now it is launching at 215 USD...but if we import from China...we paid this amount (Total cost + Shipping + Custom Duty)...!!!
