Sorry, but fixing SMS error is beyond my

knowledge.

I tried replacing several apks from 056

but it won't go.

If someone wants to try something

clever, be my guest. :)

I don't know if hangouts would be

a proper replacement.

If you find a solution I can make

a repack and upload it. :D

Hello Guys and Girls (hopefully we have girls here ...:) )

Well this is a bit off topic ...but I am getting really frustrated.

I am owning Coolpad F1 since 6 months. I am quite happy with it...but one thing just drive me crazy..I had multiple ROMs  - JB/KK./etc...but I was not able to get the bluetooth voice dialing to work with my car's buetooth radio. Iphone works, Motoraola G with KitKat 4.4.4 works...I am wonder how in 2014 I am struggling with such a feature that is available for at least 15 years.

Do some of you have testes voice dialing or Google Now via a bluetooth head set or bluetooth car setup?

Thanks for your feedbacks

which is the best multilanguage rom?

- aosp 4.4.2 v4 multilanguage by laek.17

- pure aosp v2 4.2 jonzalvo's rom

- JasonOs 20140814 based on miui 4.8.8

laek rom 2611 download(but on needron I read that has many problems) vs 843 download jonzalvo rom.

I am on 4.4 stock ROM. And searching for a GAPPS patch.

The one under GAPPS on the first page doesn´t work for me, there are only pop-ups.

1) Custom recovery:

No popups here. Here's direct link

2) Stock recovery:

As I wrote already, if you activate developer option in settings, you will have gapps (GMS package) installation

option in accessibility menu.

Another thing, I've been reading a discussion regarding battery voltage at myphone forum.

Since it's hard to understand everything translated from greek language, could you guys explain

that stuff regarding battery endurance and minimum voltage readings in various roms.

It looks interesting...

In short, we found out that pure v2 shows 0% at 3.6v and Micromax at 3.4v. Which would explain the increased battery duration since 1 hour screen on time seems to consume roughly 100mV.

But we are not sure if it's ok for the battery to be discharged to 3.4v. We don't know what the real 0% for the F1 is. Some phones have a cut off at 3.2v and some even lower or higher.

I can think of a way, but I doubt anyone would want to do it. When the phone turns off (from android) we turn it on again but enter recovery. Since recovery doesn't have a cut off, the phone will shut down when the battery is truly dead. So we take it out and measure the volts it has with a polymeter. Anyone brave enough? :)

which is the best multilanguage rom?

1) pure aosp v2 4.2 jonzalvo's rom

2) some 4.2.2 ROMs? (recent Baidu/MIUI/ColorOS?)

2) aosp 4.4.2 v3 multilanguage by laek.17

3) probably other 4.4.2 ROMs

3) JasonOs 20140814 based on miui 4.8.8

4) rest of 4.4.2 ROMs?

2) & 3) - hard to say which is better

Generally AOSP 4.2.2 from jonzalvo is still the best if you want 100% working & best performance (especially with patches from Arpione).

AOSP 4.4.2 v3 multilanguage by laek.17 is good too, but not as good as 4.2.2 from jonzalvo (lower 3D & SD performance on all 4.4.2 ROMs).

Take a look at the poll: http://www.modaco.com/topic/373543-poll-the-best-coolpad-f1-rom-is

What I don't get is the mixed results on antutu with laek's v4. I got 31289 -and none of the problems described with this particular rom- and yet some people are claiming much lower readings

Now I'm back to v3.1, because I've been trying a couple of roms during the weekend, and it was my backup rom, but I will flash it again this week. But out of curiosity I'd like to know what could be the reason(s) of that subpar results

SD card leftovers. Internal memory leftovers

(different ways for cleaning in recovery),

Different recovery used and, perhaps,

different stock rom one has before

the flashing.

@mindtrapper

Nothing fatal would happen to battery if

you discharge it too low.

If charger won't start to charge it, you can

always connect it to a 5 - 6V source for

about 10 seconds to bring it back from

dead :)

Anyway, I don't think that it's good practice

to discharge battery below 15% too often.

If you plan to sell or replace your phone during

next two years it's OK then :D

People often don't clarify what version of AnTuTu they are using and the result is different with different versions.
