[ROM][5.1.1] Cyanogenmod 12.1 [Y300/G510] [04/06/2015]

Hi. My first impression is that the rom is fast, really fast. After first booting I;ve noticed fast battery drain caused by Android System, but after couple of reboots everything is fine. Music player is constantly crashing, it won't open. Taking pictures and videos is fine. You can apply themes, I applied Euphoria Dark theme from the play store and everything is fine. You can install Better Battery Stats as system app (it was problem for other users on other phones with CM 12) from the app itself. Making calls superb, no freezes...Overall, its really nice rom. I dont know if I'm going to try xposed, its not stable yet and not reccomended. Wakelock Detector is not working. As I'm writing this I got my first black screen, i'm going to pull my battery out... Stay tuned... I'm going to provide logcat and dmesg soon...

Now I'm feeling that CM12.1 is smoother and faster than SlimLP... after a few hours after installing the ROM, it stabilishes and runs properly... :)

You should wait for SlimLP 5.1 by chil360 before saying that  :), generally with Android 5.1 all devices got a boost

 

 

Gallery app for pictures,videos,etc.

 

He was talking about duplicate songs, Gallery app doesn't read songs

 

 

As I'm writing this I got my first black screen, i'm going to pull my battery out... Stay tuned... I'm going to provide logcat and dmesg soon...

 

I got that too once, it seems to be an issue occurring when your available RAM is really low

But I'm comparing with the actual release of SlimLP.... and yes, Android 5.1 is a real boost :)

@Fonz93 can you put the DSP Manager in the rom? ^_^  It's better than Audio FX, but I don't know if is compatible with lollipop, thanks. :D

Same was for pictures some times in gallery app i was facing the same problem with pictures but as (caras) i switched to quickpick too. and Eleven music isn't bug is the media storage app who isn't reading the media like Music and pictures properly, sometimes when i was using slimlp Eleven work great when i waited 10 mins for the media storage app for read all the content, atm i'm using rocket player (Because his own media manager)  and QuickPick

Happened to my brother's evo 3d.....easily reparable...you need only a good hand...the piece...and a badword solder

I don't know if I did this well...

 

But suddenly the screen don't turned on when I pressed power button... and it remained in black (only bottom buttons were lighted) for several minutes... after rebooting the phone (pulling out the battery) worked normally again...

(La pantalla no encendió cuando presioné el botón de encendido, solo los botones de la parte de abajo, y así por varios minutos... tras reiniciar sacando la batería todo funcionó normal)

1) Also for me Black screen happened one time today and i had to remove battery.

 

2) I also have a bug with folder. when i tap on it i see nothing inside, but icons are still there because if i tap them the apps start

Unfortunately 2) and 3) can't be fixed by me, i already know about the 1) and i am trying to find a solution, it should be RAM related, but i am not sure, i need to know also the conditions when this happens, to me happened once when i was playing a game and someone called me and once when i tried to unlock the phone with the game running in background

Blackscreen happened to me too, doing nothing in class, with wifi and data off, when I got out the phone was dead and also another time when I was lying on my bed with the phone by my side.

 

Myabe it's related to deep sleep

Every thing is ok CM12 is amazingly fast now.... music work fine never faced player crash.... but when i use stereio Bluetooth Music stop and play continuously if i am using phone... even lock and unlock make sound lagging. its may be ram or processor i dont know but not player issue and why people saying music player is crashing.

Camera worked fine but after first restart it saying can find camera when try to take picture...google camera worked.. Great work.... and i installed cm12 with CWM recovery... logs said .... "ext4 partition CWM patching system image unconditionally"
