I just deleted it through twrp file explorer.
Guest Folini Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Deleted file.. AOSP keyboard working fine!
Guest Nemesix2 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 @chil360 29/11 build won't install at all. It shows the following in TWRP 2.8.1.0: detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/mmcblk0p17 That message appears twice. I downloaded the ROM again, but same problem.
Guest chil360 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 @Nemesix2 It's normal to see the "detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/mmcblk0p17" messages. In my last build I switched from block-based (system image) to file-based install zips. This allows for easy customization of the zip files but takes longer to install. Just be patient - the install will complete.
Guest detectedpendulum Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Perfectly! Thank you for the great work done. Black screens are now a rarity , the speed and fluidity present. Will there be updates?
Guest Cuba2 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Hi, i have random freeze, I do not know why
Guest Folini Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 I saw "miscellaneous" eating lots of battery. Googling around I got this message: " After changing the build.prop back to user (from userdebug) I can confirm that Miscellaneous is no longer displayed in the battery stats. Must be a developer feature to measure expected vs actual battery drain is my guess. " Is it the case? If I modify /system/build.prop from ro.build.type=userdebug to ro.build.type=user I get better battery duration or is only a different way of displayig usage data?
Guest chil360 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 The next build should improve battery life. As, @Folini noticed, ksmd can eat cpu time therefore draining the battery and hurting performance. I have now tuned the KSM config to stop this from happening. Updates: I am going to start doing weekly updates on Sundays starting today. Downloads should be available late on Sunday evenings. Please wait until the date in the topic has been updated before downloading - this ensures that the file you download will be complete and not a partial file that I am still uploading.
Guest Kiodo1981 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 @chil360 will you fix keyboard FC in the next build on the G510? Camera bug? Thanks for your work.
Guest Folini Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Attached logcat for the wifi disconnecting... Tried airplane mode on/off, restarting, deleting other wifi connection info. Now it seems that activating airplane mode and enabling wifi (leaving airplane mode) did the trick... Obviously I can't use to make/receive calls. LogcatWifiDisconnect.txt

Guest Folini Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) New problem... Edit: it was a parental control app that misbehaved... Guest Nemesix2 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 @chil360 Hi, I did what you said. I waited longer, and it worked (thx) but camera is still not working. I have Opengapps pico 6.0 ARM, are Gapps the problem? "Can't connect to camera"
Guest freibergisch Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Video recording works, but cam does not.. Hopefully next update can fix that

Guest Alias Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 (edited) Okay, I'm testing the latest version of the Rom since about half an hour (without GAPPS). First: It runs better than SlimLP ever did. xD It could be a little bit smoother, but I know, it is in an early stage of development. Of course, there are also some issues: Everytime I tried to download anything with the stock-browser, it crashed. I had some incomplete translations (German), but that's not very important. Last but not least, video playback runs very bad, but that was clear, because hardware decoding doesn't work. Great work at all! Now I will try OpenGapps and probably some apks. Edit: Always when I'm starting music with the preinstalled player, it's very loud in the first moment (less than a second), but than it's normal. Edited December 7, 2015 by Alias

Guest Alias Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Update: I flashed pico Gapps ARM. Now I can't start it anymore, because the "setup assistent" crashes permanently after swiping on the lockscreen.
