Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

There are RANDOM bugs. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Y300 Patch 1:

- Higher VM Heap values make Camera shots 5MPix images, also video recording works.

- AOSP Camera is replaced with Cyanogen Camera 2.0.05

- Terminal Emulator is added.

- handhand_core_hardware and a.h.usb.host permission are added, USB OTG should work also (with Y cable).

 

• Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
• Y300: Settings>Storage can not be open, but internal and external SD is already switched in kernel.

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

How to flash:


 

• Don't do it if you don't know it. Flash clean ROM and than flash patch ( aicp10-boot-fixed.zip ) and optionally wipe /cache.
   
• ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes

 

KERNEL:
Kernel in this ROM follows chil360' SlimLP-Y300 source with few changes.

PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
OTA package it not made, cause there will be only this one build.  Maybe flashable ZIP patches will be added in future...

So, you say that there won't be any updates then you will leave camera non-working?

This in statusbar vcc:pdr is it stands for : vucicu pederu? :D

1 - Thanks a lot!

2 - Well, it must be kernel fault, so patch would be new boot.img in ZIP or similar. Use Cyanogen Camera 2.0.005 and set resolution to 1.2 or 1.3 MP

3 - Da, bas taj, objedinjeni mobilni operater, umesto vip:rs, tnr:rs, mts:rs :)

4 - Ok, MEGA.nz has link with passkey, lets use URL shortcut and update download link.

5 - ChangeLog is for offical/main AICP 10 project, not for Y300 build, I've just use their suggested XDA-template with minimal changes.

AICP 11 (6.0.1) is ready and will be uploaded next day! It better and bug-free then this AICP 10.

CyanogenMod's camera works with 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.3 MPix resolution... also till 1.9 MPix, before patching:

Forgot to add: both AICP 10 and 11 are deoxed and Xposed framework can be added.

AICP 10 has Antipiracy Content service, which block installation for piracy app like Blackmart, PureAPK, Mobilism etc. But there is workaround even for that.

But that is last version of AICP 10, authors abandon it and update AICP 11 (MM) and/or develop AICP 12 (Nougat).

I heard that you can try to build CM14 ROM with CM13 kernel and device tree (cause we are missing CM14 branch of those), and you will got Nougat ROM finally... but it boots in recovery mode only :)

instead of starting rom (after successful flashing), goes to recovery.
