Coolpad promised one major update,i don't have the link,don't ask me!So if the rebranded F1s came out with aosp 4.4 there is a big chance they get updated to L just like we did with kitkat.

 

The question is:Do you really want Android L? Xposed will not be available for ART as the dev clearly stated and L is ART only.Apart from that i don't even like KitKat and the whole new Apple like philosophy that google follows after jellybean.I mean come on,i have Kitkat and whenever i do something even remotely related to location services google busts my balls for allowing them to have control over my location at any time.The popup even fades away the ''don't show this again'' option when you choose ''don't allow''

 

I won't even start with the KitKat's sd card fiasco..

 

I think that i will completely uninstall any google component from my phone and go with alternative stores,email apps and maps.Google is becoming Apple

Yep, we are still trying to find some decent 3d performance for kk! I don't believe the rebranded phones will see any update, it's not Coolpad that has to update them, but both Himax and Micromax (and as I found they are not that fond on updating their devices). Our Coolpad will die with the 4.4.2, but I hope it will be at least well optimized when its final update will be released. The Google One thing could help improving portings towards mediatek devices, but if we still lack kernel and drivers it will be no use.

The only thing I want from lollipop is project Volta. Like kit Kat was supposedly good for ram. Anyway, I think I will see android 5 in my Sony Xperia neo v and my Huawei u8800 pro, but not in Coolpad f1. Shame really...

Yes/no. XInternalSD works/doesn't work. It changes the default directory, but then gallery force closes (didn't happen with Laek 2.1 tho). When you delete it, the fc doesn't appear, but also the directory is still changed. So its "temporal".

Been trying to figure this out. Both of those links lead to the same page and ROM for me.

Its been some time since posted something...I'm using laeks v3 for some time and I must say that for me it's the most complete rom that I used..

And one question..could someone recommend some case for me that is practical and good for protection? Thanks

That's not an aluminium case, it's a plastic back cover with a glass back and thin aluminium strips around the edge for decoration. I'm using this with a tempered glass screen protector btw: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6210035464.html I'll eat my hat if the phone get's damaged in this :D

ok i acidentaly wipe all my internal storage with the system too.. i cant install rom frpm sdcard, symlink missed.. and my backup is gone with the wipe.. so, what need to do?? flash stock??
