Guest userDJJ Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) Yes, I'm 100% sure your IMEI is not deleted. Just flash Xs patch for WCDMA :) Next time, when you flash a TD rom, do the patch, then check the IMEI... Update on baidu rel 60 official 403.3M http://www.modaco.com/topic/372543-coolpad-f1-8297w-review-info-software-custom-roms/page-167#entry2240587 my imei didn't vanish, 2/3g network was found without applying Xs patch for WCDMA. Persentage and voltage values seems to be accurate. I'm using the same rom and it's sooo different... like 1:30h @ 50%.
Guest dakok Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Update on baidu rel 60 official 403.3M http://www.modaco.com/topic/372543-coolpad-f1-8297w-review-info-software-custom-roms/page-167#entry2240587 my imei didn't vanish, 2/3g network was found without applying Xs patch for WCDMA. You mixed-up the concept of WCDMA - TDSCDMA phones and their softwares Your IMEI can't vanish if you flash W rom on a w phone :) Baidu 60 you are reffering to is a wcdma rom for a wcdma phone. No need for a patch there. The roms name tells it all: 102_0_COOLPAD8297W_R_2.3.60.51_20141108230303.zip

Guest jakethedooggg Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en I don't think that really does something to be honest.
Guest korekore1 Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I don't think that really does something to be honest. yes it does..try it!
Guest jakethedooggg Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 yes it does..try it! I tried it in other roms but at the end is always the same :[
Guest Jpower73 Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I have the complete results of the battery test. Rom a310 v2. The first low bat notification was at 15%.The second one was at 3%,which shutted down wifi adapter. During the test, spotify apk was on the go and, of course, screen constantly on. Well, here you are...... No comments..... ;)
Guest brusss Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 @Jpower73 Are there any bugs on v2 ROM? How it scores 3d in antutu?
Guest dakok Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 You can not get more than about 6 hours SOT with normal phone use. Screen draws certain amperage, radios, CPU and other stuff, too and battery has 2500mAh or less by now. So 12 hour SOT is not a true measure. It would be like we all have Tesla with 400km autonomy and yours makes 800km. It is not possible. Unless you are Gandalf or something.
Guest razorinc Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Impossible to have 12 hours of SOT, wrong readings... More like 7h and that is a lot...
Guest userDJJ Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Well, one could make a test, battery fully charged (100%), now turn display on for 1 hour. Again check battery level in % and extrapolate to whole capacity. If 1 hour drains battery lever for 10% you can theoretically get 10 hours SOT. For 12 hours SOT: battery level for should fell for at most 8.33% per hour. Edited November 23, 2014 by userDJJ
Guest razorinc Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Need to do battery calibration for exact measurement of battery percentage drain... I have a will to test this rom
Guest xeros2 Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Well, one could make a test, battery fully charged (100%), now turn display on for 1 hour. Again check battery level in % and extrapolate to whole capacity. If 1 hour drains battery lever for 10% you can theoretically get 10 hours SOT. For 12 hours SOT: battery level for should fell for at most 8.33% per hour. Percentage values are usually not accurate so such extrapolation would be useless. More accurate stats are needed, like battery voltage in mV & periodic mA drains. For example Battery Monitor Widget from 3C could provide such stats. Besides for screen on time very much matters brightness (on some ROMs minimal value is less than on others), CPU power saving aggresiveness (scheduling governor, idle cores disabling & cpufreq scalling), wifi & 3g power, running apps & usage of sensors (for example in my case Tap Tap App (to unlock phone using proximity sensor) uses ~35% of battery by only having proximity sensor enabled all the time.
Guest dakok Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Leaving the screen on is not worth testing. It is a very different consumption regime than that of everydays use. No touches, screen movement, sensor activation, screen refreshings, audio chipset, microphone, speakerphone etc. Just like holding breath underwater when diving vs keeping your head in pool without any move.
