please help me i followed your steps from the previous page but ygdp is stuck on entering download mode for 3 hours , how long does

the process take ?

 

You have to switch phone to download mode.

 

1. Run Start on YGDP

2. Take battery off

3. Connect USB to PC

4. Take battery on

Would it not be better to do everything in Sandboxie rather than globally disabling security tools?

 

It has been reported that during the installation of the drivers or during the flashing procedure, internet security software were blocking the connection between the phone and the pc.

So it is advised to deactivate them for 10 minutes during these procedures. For some users it was necessary, for many no.

Also some had to remove the battery, so to start the flashing procedure,

or to plug the usb cable, wait a few seconds and then unplug (because the phone started to charge instead of flashing) and plug it again and the flashing started

Also some users installed the drivers, only when the phone was connected to the pc in recovery mode or even fastboot mode.

1. Connect phone to PC

2. Start Menu - Run, type: cmd and hit Enter 

3. Type: cd/

4. Type: adb shell fctest system reboot and hit Enter

Without these steps it was sitting there stuck on "entering download mode".

Flashing works fine without doing step 2 and 4.

OK - but it didn't work if I had the phone connected when I clicked Start.

It just sat there saying "entering download mode".

It only worked if I clicked Start first and only then connected the phone to USB.

When I did that it kicked into action.

Oddly when it finished flashing the YGDP app would not exit normally (File > Exit and 'X' window frame control disabled) so I had to manually kill the process.

Also the first time I did the hack of dropping CWM recovery.img into the unzipped CPB folder the recovery did not work. When I tried to enter it I just got the "dead Android" picture.

I had to do it a second time before CWM worked.

I can't see that I did anything wrong the first time though.

dead android is stock recovery (you have to press power or vol button then to start it - I think)

I was pressing vol+ and power.

It's like the first time around it didn't properly flash the CWM recovery even though I had copied it into the folder.

Second time around it worked.

Anyway - using YGDP and the custom recovery hack is relatively straightforward in the end.

Finally it worked out, had to terminate other related procceses as samsung kies, snappea etc. They seemed to occupy  ports neede for adb to do its job.

Describe it in more detail - i.e. precisely what you are doing and what doesn't work.

 i flashed all 3 version available on net but after flasing mobile hang on factory mode, shows factory mode volume up and volume down

If that guide for fixing vol up vol down bug won't work you can

flash rom with CDA tool, too.

We proposed that in the greek forum but no success.

His phone is stuck at factory mode.

He succesfully flashed a cpb rom via YGDP tools but the phone is still stuck at factory mode.

He had no succes with the commands through cmd terminal in windows.

 

I suggested to uninstall all USB drivers with the help of USBDeview and try again the adb commands

 

I think it's a driver problem.

 

Any suggestions?

Did he install vcom autoinstall driver?

Another PC?

XP and windows 7 are preferable

 

He should be able to flash it with YGDP Tool, CDA Tool or SP Flash Tool

Flashing goes OK up to 100%, but then phone does not boot, goes on "factory mode" and then a black screen with a blue square on top left  saying "1.modem" and there is a "up" and "down" on the right. What now ?

I don't think YGDP tools supports your phone

Try Coolpad download assisant, get it from here with the official 071 rom (5th tab)

Drivers works best with a windows XP PC.

My phone has soft bricked. I'm trying to flash stock with ygdp but can't. When i connect the phone during "Entering download mode" it cannot detect phone and it just hangs.I have win 10 x64. Can someone help?

EDIT: It started but without the battery inserted. Hope everything will go ok.fingers crossed
